Stupid Q re: bigger injectors

I posted last week about what mods to do next, and the general consensus was bigger injectors - 650cc - and FMIC. Will bigger injectors actually give me an increase in performance? I can't increase the boost on stock turbos anymore, so if there is an increase in performance how does it come about? Cheers

maybe they thaught you had a J-Spec where an upgrade to 550's is needed pretty quickly but due to the cost of and fitting a resistor pack you may as well fit direct replacement 650's then you are good to go right up to a single kit with 67 turbo

As you have a uk if you are not thinking of going beyond the stock twins its pretty uneccessary.

mmmm depends who tunes the car. We sell 800cc's for the same money.

You need to understand that just becasue you have the injectors to run 650 bhp you don't necessarily have the fuel pump. Be careful:eek:

slight hijack hear, sorry

Im UK with FMIC, de cat, FCD, AVCR, SAFCII.

My stockers are shot it i think. If i went for hybrids, would it be benificial for me to run larger injectors? and would my SAFCII support this.

Would there be any benifits for me? Could i run more boost than say 1.25ish?

The 650's wont give you any extra power but may be cheaper than new 550's , the SAF-c will control them fine , re the boost if i was running hybrids i would be at 1.4 minimum but thats me .

sorry dude, my post read wrong.

My stock turbos are shot it. My injectors are fine,

i just wondered if they would need upgrading if i went for hybrids and increased the boost? and if my SAFCII would controll it all.

But if there are no benifits to increased injector size on a UK i will keep with the 550's yes?

I'd have thought you'd have learnt your lesson with hybrids by now! :D

I would be looking at going to a small single turbo set up if I was in your position. (Well I am looking at it, but that's not the point)
