Bob
I thought I'd choose the easy route and went with http://www.robertsonholbrook.co.uk - a complete and utter mistake. For anyone thinking about it, avoid them as they really are a bunch of f**kwits. It's been nearly 4 months since I sent away all my details - the claim for my hsbc account still hasn't made it to court yet (though apparently it's waiting for a court date), and they havn't even got any details of charges or anything on my visa card yet! Managed to get through to them today (always me having to chase them) after about half an hour of trying, and the half-soaked b*ll*ck-juggler on the other end of the line could only find some vague notes on my case. I wish I'd done it myself now. Does anyone know if I can tell them where to stick their 'service' regarding the visa card without encountering any charges from them? Pot
How far has your claim gone??... And what details or letters do you have?...
Bob
How far has your claim gone??... And what details or letters do you have?... As it's being dealt with by a 3rd party solicitor, I have absolutely no paperwork from them at all. All I know is that the current account is awaiting a court date, and they still have no list of charges / copy of statements for the visa.
Chiefgroover
It's like taing candy off a baby, no solicitor needed, withdraw your case and tell them in writing you are deeply dissapointed with their communication and progress, to keep yourself covered. see http://www.penaltychargesforum.co.uk
Pot
As above, I'd say unless a court case has been filed, you must be able to get rid of the services from that company... And then via Data Protection, get copies of all of the documents they have on your case...
