albundy68 Posted August 6, 2004 Share Posted August 6, 2004 1st and second decat with restrictor ring ought to cost you under £300, CW or Paul E can get them no problem, Fittings dead easy, or take to any garage and they'll do it for not much, 30mins work max. It'll definately be louder, but how loud depends on your exhaust and your induction, apexi N1 zaust + apexi power intake = excellent sound IMHO, and no need for a dump valve either coz the dumping sound is plenty loud without one!!! oh and MOT just put a cat back in, dead easy, or stuff the MOT place a tenner to put it in before they test, Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Kitt Posted August 6, 2004 Share Posted August 6, 2004 I will shortly be getting an RSR fitted included both de-cat pipes and most likely taking the muffler out - it's going on a NA so from previous threads loud is probably not the word for it ! In general it would depend on the backbox you have, Blitz NUR Spec R are popular but the RSR is the " daddy " when it comes to annoying the neighbours and setting off car alarms; can't wait Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
