caliAl
I have just installed WS FTP Server 5.04 and configured SSL and everything works fine till I switch the service to login with a service account. Is there anyway to get WS FTP Server working with out an administrative account? I put the service account in the local Power Users group but still no success. Can anyone help? Lucifer
Yes vvery easily. 1. Make its one Security Group called FTP Group 2. Make its onw account called FTPserver or whatever 3. Give that group full control to the file system of the upload and download directories 3. Give that group Full permission to the Registry Hivs and keys 4 DO NOT use the same account for connections in assign a new account with cut down permission to NTFS folders only.
