Rob
Further to my last post I had a look at the exhaust manifold to see if anything was blowing, it wasn't. However, the heat sheild was held on by two studs with nuts on the rearmost manifold, and two bolts on the frontmost, one of which I sheared the head off. Shouldn't they all be studs? and odd design why have holes straight through into the manifold, why not just build up the metal and drill and tap a fixing point? Rob
Ok, the microfiche shows it to be all studs, which means previus owner mucked about with it. New question, How do I test for vacuum leaks around the hoses and the throttle body?
