steb9780
I have just put my facelift lights in and I had to cut into the loom for the fog. I cut the exact same wire as on my old lights, and soldered into the wiring loom of the lights. I never noticed previously how the fog light worked, I just knew it came on (on my pre-facelift lights). But it seems that it was at the expense of one of the brake lights, is that normal?? I wasn't bothered about it, just making sure it was right. I'd much rather have that than a "hideous" extra light on the bottom of the bumper. Thanks! ivan
I wondered about this so I checked mine not long after I bought it. Mine uses one of the brake lights too - but the brake light itself still functions as well. Ie, the light gets even brighter when you put the brakes on. Strange but good.
