richy2jz-gte
im gonna change the shocks and springs on my uk tt in the next couple of weeks but looking at the bolt that holds the front top wishbone in looks like it could be a pain in the ass. has any one sufferd from seased wishbone bolts? Timwildman
Did mine a little while ago. The only bolts that were looking like they would be a problem, were the ones that dont need moving. Just give the blots you do need to move a spray with wd-40 or something like that. The day before. Then use some big breaker bars. It also helps if you read the instructions before, unlike me
richy2jz-gte
fitted yellow jap billies and eibach springs today:( followed the instructions in the workshop manual and what a load of crap the people must have been on drugs when they wrote this. it says that you have to undo the bottom shocker bracket off the front bottom arm but i tryed to undo it and one of the bolts snapped. it took me longer to fix that than it did to change all the shocks. The not pissed up way took bout 2 1/2 hours to do the lot including sorting the broken bolt. it sits just nice and is firm but not "rattle your teeth" firm.... so if your thinkin of lowerin your supra dont read the instructions or they will leave you in a vat of crap.
