Its my mates wedding in May, im his best man, and he's set his sights on Copenhagen for the stag do so im turning to you guys for your thoughts. Looking for some travel tips, clubs to visit, recommended places to stay, Strip club locations etc. We're all late twenties and are up for a cracking weekend but need some suggestions. SupraAyf Posted February 15, 2007 Share Posted February 15, 2007 Mark, The Radisson Hotel or the Marriot are the best places to stay but stay away from 'The Grand' as its a shit hole. The Marriot is a bit of a stretch though and you will need a taxi every time you want to go somewhere! Personally, I would stay at the Radisson (breakast is out of this world) and it is central for everything in Copenhagen. No sooner do you walk out of the main entrance and you're next to the massive open air theme park. The Radisson is also only a 4 minute walk from the Copenhagen Grand central Station. You can fly in to Copenhagen Airport and then catch the train from the airport railway station which will cost you about £3 each and then 3 stops ad 15 minutes later; you're at the Grand Central Station (cheap as chips and so bloody easy mate - great for a stag weekend) If you walk 2 minutes from the Radisson then you're in to the main town square where you will find more pubs, clubs and 'special' clubs than you will ever need. Stay away from taxis if you can help it as they put a whole new meaning to overcharging If you need anything else then drop me a line mucka. Just make sure you are all on your best behaviour with the girls and then even the ugliest English blokes will pull a stunner. Best of luck yeh!
