wwe Posted February 6, 2007 Share Posted February 6, 2007 hi all i have a problem a code 42 speed sensor signal circuit o/d off light flashes & engine light & big red warning light comes on i have had wires checked sensors checked a new ecu (second hand) new speedo clocks (second hand) still not fixed apart from getting the sensors changed anyone know what else i can do ?????????????/ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Matt _Aero top_ Posted February 6, 2007 Share Posted February 6, 2007 In some old threads you'll see i've had this problem and did the code 42 fix as attached - which did solve the symptoms , i.e low idle speeds and power steering problems , yet i'm not 100% happy as every now and again its as if the cars not quite right so if i was you i wouldn't bodge it -which this fix is in a fashion . i'd go for a thor delimeter as these are the ones that sort power steering too Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
