markymark
I'm looking at travelling to Ireland this year in the Supra and head up to the north for a wedding and some sight-seeing. The only thing I'm worried about is the crossing. My car is very low and was wondering has anybody taken their Supra over and had any problems? Is the ramp you go on to get on the ferry flat with the road or will I have to go up ramps like a multi story car park? Travelling from Holyhead so would like to use the HSS - any advise would be a great help.
geoffvalenti
Never been on the HSS so I can't help there but even the motorhome bottomed out once coming off the cargo deck. All the cars go onto a different deck so maybe OK. They don't normally drive straight on, usually up a long, sometimes curved, ramp. The angle is normally determined by the state of the tide.
