they are meant to make the turn in better, and the ride is a little harder.

i think that you cannot get them seperatley either

I think you can get them seperately (what if one was to fail, you need a new set of coilovers? ;))

rich is correct though, they do give a harsher ride and i've heard that due to our crappy roads they generally don't tend to last too long before becoming rattly etc

If i were you i'd stick with stock top mounts, if yours need replaced then get OEM ones.

I have the TEIN SS set-up on stock top mounts and no issues, the harder coilover set-up is a bit tougher on stock top mounts though and so you maybe be worth fitting brand new OEM ones when you fit the TEIN. Was also told you cant buy the TEIN Top Mounts on their own, but unless you are planning on a fair few tracks day dont think you really need them.

One of the nicest riding semi coil over setups i have had so far, i got mine with the top mounts as it just makes thing easier when changing over, you don't need to bugger about with spring clamps etc, thee top mounts are pretty similar in design to STD top mounts as in they have rubber bushings, and not as a lot of people seem to think pillow ball/spherical bearings with do tend to make things a bit more harsh, got mine from Gaz at Envy, very good price;)
