Bob
I got the Profec E01 installed today and started to set it all up. For some reason, it won't let me access the boost menu to programme in the boost values. Everything else works fine, and it's recieving a signal from the pressure sensor (which doesn't have the 'orifice' on the tee-piece - should this make any difference?). I need to check the rpm wire is OK as the signal from that seems iffy, but has anyone else experienced this before?
Wazz72
Set mine up just before christmas and had no problems. Left it on the automatic settings, but I have entered manual settings in and changed them back.. Just waiting on the I/O Harness to arrive so i can use it as a fcd and take my last cat out.. Bob
Reinstalled everything today with good connections thanks to the fields harness. Revs and boost are showing up perfectly, yet I still can't access the Boost menu - could this be a dodgy solenoid?
Bob
Many thanks to Mohd @ mohdparts.com - it appears that I need the Profec E01 software rather then just the E01 software. So next time someone sells you an E01 with promises that it can be used as a boost controller with just a solenoid for £55, ignore them. The e01 requires a software update, solenoid, solenoid harness, pressure sensor, and pressure sensor harness to become the Profec E01.
Steve
You can send the SD card to Greddy in the States and they can reprogram it for you. They did mine after i managed to mess up the card. All i had to pay was for sending the card to them and for them to send it back to me.

SimonB
If you have a card reader for your PC you can also download the latest version from the Emanage yahoo group page and a cheapo SD card and make yourself one.
