Wez
Trust Toyota to use a non standard fitting for the AC, got to get an adapter now.
richardharmon
Eh, non-standard fitting!? They use the standard R134a type adaptors, the low pressure side is slightly smaller than the high side. Any other car I’ve looked at that takes R134a by design uses the same sort of adaptor. You can buy the adaptors from these people if you need to: HRP Online
Wez
Ahh ok cool, just looking for an adapter now so I can charge my system later. Don`t suppose you have the part number do you
richardharmon
HRP will let you buy stuff from their trade counter without a trade account, but you need an account to order online. I got my high and low pressure side adaptors from there, if you just ask for R134a adaptors for automotive use they will sort you out with the correct bits. Cost me about £20 each if I remember! Still the old type they used to sell were more like £40 a pop!!! It’s worth ringing them first to see if they have any in stock as they don’t tend to keep large amounts of these in.
