steb9780
Just wondering if ACT clutches and flywheels are good. They look like an American firm from there site. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with them.
Steve Sherwood
I use an ATC clutch in my RZ-S six speed. I have the heavy duty pressure plate and copper ceramic race disc, I use an RPS flywheel. The ACT flywheels look good but could not get one so used RPS. It is heavy in trafic but will hold up to 800 ft/lb torque, a lot for a single plate clutch. It is good to use it feeds in well and can slipped it is not just on or off. Hope that is of some help.
Paul Whiffin
Yep, they are the business, I haven't tried one in a Supra as yet but I have one in my RX7 drift car and its very nice to use even with a paddle plate.
steb9780
Would it be a good clutch and flywheel to go for then in my car. Hoping for BPU+ at some point. Still got first de-cat in at moment though. A friend mailnly specialises in Rover tuning, but he can get me the clutch and flywheel for what looks like a good price. Paul Whiffin
I wouldn't like to say 100% on a Supra as I've never tested them, but judging from what I've seen on other cars yes. RPS are generally known as the best though.
