Ewen
It wouldnt be Christmas without the cat launching herself into the tree. Christ knows why, but she loves it. Wife bought some Christmas tree decorations containing catnip a few years back, that was a really good idea, not. Ours likes the shiny balls she can see herself in, miows a bit then takes a few steps back and then off she goes like a spring.

Pabs
well the fibe-optic one we have seems to interest only 1 of the 3 cats we have. She licks the tree, and tries to scratch the pot, and we've found baul-balls (sp?) all over the flat. So long as we find them, and don't have to get them "irrigated" from the cats intestines, we should be ok!
Babe
if it's a real tree scatter some needles down IT HURTS THEM mwahhahaha! (actually it might not) We stuck cocktail sticks in the pot the Christmas Tree was in to stop the cat crapping in it. Got up the next morning and somehow the cat must have tip-toed round the edge of the pot and crapped in it, all over the cocktail sticks, which then had to pulled out.... ewww! Luckily I was about 10 at the time so my mum had to do it, but the memory lingers LOL!

Our tree has been up for a week now, and so far no problems. The boy won't want to know about the tree as it does not have a pulse (likes to hunt) but the little girl, well she likes to play, so we are keeping an eye on her
sdavies
My cat love Christmas She almost stripped bare an artificial tree by chewing on it over night... you don't realise the half of it until they start parading around with tinsel sticking out of their bum!!! I had no words....
tbourner
Our 2 don't so much climb on it, as sit underneath it and 'bat' the baubles around!! One of ours seems to like to chew the superbright LEDs though!
