bungy
How did you get it off in the first place as I can see no fixings and didn't think it screwed on. I really need to change mine. Did you get a new replacement and from where? Any help would be appreciated.
DamanC
Well i think its done, havent had chance to test my bodgeit and leggit ovrdrive rewireing but it should be ok. One thing that does concern me is for some strange reason i seem to have 12 bolts and a turbo left over James its just a play on the trader thing, i dont have a prefered trader so rather than being left out i made my own Bungy - I got mine of Nic aka import pimp from here. Under the actual knob is a sleave, slide it down to reveal 2 screws, remove. Around the buttons is a cover, this will prise off, unclip the overdrive button. You will see the 2 overdrive buttons where the sleave used to be, cut them and slide the over drive button out noting where the wires run. The knob will then lift off. The release button also needs to be reused, i wedged mine off with a screw driver but snapped half the holding mechanism, turns out this doesnt matter but it looks like to remove it you simply have to pull bloody hard. Then just reverse the process to refit the new one, its very fidderly and with no light took me about an hour or so. Hope this helps
