Guest Supraman989
Morning all, Just wondering on the off chance if anyone knows a decent gargage in Reading to do some work on my car. I need a cambelt change, but also I think the release bearing in the clutch has gone, as when the clutch is not pressed there is a high pitched squeaking/squealing noise. Slight pressure on the clutch makes the noise go. Also does anyone have any rough prices on the above work? Toyota are a little unhelpful and can only tell me the price of the parts, their hourly rate and cant give an estimated time!! Thank in advance
CJ
It may be too far for you but I found Inchcape Toyota to be very helpful. They are based just outside Oxford at Kidlington. Their contact number is 01865 291300 HTH

CJ
Whilst I recognise CW as being a very good source, he is not exactly local to Reading though eh?
lust2luv
What's with this mass noisy clutch release bearing outbreak? Seems everyone who's anyone has one. Anyone ever paid to have one replaced to give an idea of cost?

If you go to someone local and it goes wrong, they you have to go to Chris for him to fix it. May as well make the trip and get it done proper the first time around. You pay cheap........and Chris is not expensive, just a little out of the way.
