Steviekid
According to the wiring diagram it goes straight to the ECU without joining any other wires. Don't know what it does though!!

PhatB
My j-spec n/a has a black wire spliced onto the pink wire, not sure exactly what it does, although when I changed the head unit I managed to pull the black wire out when re-fitting the dash and the mileage never changed. Maybe something to do with that?

Steviekid
i will try and trace it back before i do any cutting Will it not be for a kph to mph converter or is that what you're fitting now?

Steviekid
i have changed the clocks to mph but not touched the odometer yet I left my odometer in kms, otherwise it's in miles up to a certain point then starts counting up in kms which can get confusing!
