Gruggs
Hi guys, I know this has been discussed many times. Just wondering if i should use Toyota atf-iv with my new boostlogic uprated gearbox as normal or whether a new oil is required. Cheers G
Robbie
Kean told me to only use the type iv and nothing else.
Gruggs
result...i've been dealing with zohair not kean. had asked him but he hadnt answered the question. My box should arrive sometime this week. was looking to get the transmission fluid ordered up to ensure everything is ready to go. Robbie - i take it the a/r housing on your 67 is 0.68 yeah? Cheers G
Robbie
No. Ive got the .81 exhaust housing on at the moment. I had the .68 first and decided I could live with the extra lag of a .81. Basically I couldnt resist the potential of a little more power:rolleyes:
Gruggs
is it noticeable? I'm planning on running the 67 with the .68 housing on a 3800 hi-stall. whats the impact on normal driving and on the strip of the 0.81 housing? Robbie
Because I was greedy and couldn't wait, I'll never know if it was better as a .
Gruggs
will be good to compare at some point. once i'm fully up and running i'll be down at the drag events so we can see what the impact feels like cheers g
