SilverSoop Posted November 5, 2006 Share Posted November 5, 2006 Hi all, was driving down a quite narrow road into b/stoke town and i was mucking around with my CD player, then i saw two fit birds go past me wasn't concentrating properly when i whacked the kerb. B****cks. When i heard that grinding noise i knew i had kerbed my wheels, Anyway thought nothing of it too much, just before i went out this morning, i checked my wheels. The front n/s kerbed quite badly, the rear n/s kerbed but not that bad but thats not all, i need a new bloody front tyre!! i just bought a brand new set a few weeks ago! The tyre itself has a dep cut in the sidewall and a shallow cut half way along the rim protection bit. BLOODY KERBS!!! I suppose that'll teach me for not paying attention wont it?? I'd check it out 1st before you buy another set. Already did mate, the guy told me that if i was him he'd drive it but watch it closely, but you could see part of the cord, its that deep. But im gonna get a new tyre just to be safe, i mean i dont want to be going some leptons and then it goes boom. I get payed next week anyway. Sorry to hear about this, when I had my cheapo alloys on the Supra ages ago I didn't kerb them once... yet less than 2 months after putting on my new ones they looked a bit worse for wear.
