Annoying problem wont go away

[Fifty]

For months I have endured the problem of one sodding coil pack clip (the front one) which at its liesure decides to "short" or lose its connection causing the car to roughen up and almost cut out.(I have to stop and mess with it)

Martin tweaked it last week and it was fine. Today the bugger cut out again.

I have replaced the clip before.

 

This is dangerous and nearly caused me to have an accident.

There is none around here who I trust to sort this out.

Anyone explain how this small issue can be resolved?
