Aerotop FIX

Castle

Recommended Posts

ok so i got the courage to try and take apart my roof and tighten the bolts inside which make all the banging:mad: .....

....well i chickened out when i got half of the sticky rubber crap off (the bit that's meant to be non reusable)

Shall i get some new sticky rubber crap before trting again or just reuse it??

oh and i'm getting quite a bit of drip coming in from the join on the driver's side in the front corner - any fix for this??

Thanks:thumbs:

roof and door i guess then ... as for the rattle, i took it to a mechanic who used a combo of strong glue and that white tape over the screws (mine were stripped then) .. not the best method i guess but it worked.

my advice would be to get new ones but maybe someone else has a better idea as i am not THAT tech minded mate. i saw the problem starting on mine so replaced the rubbers in their entirety but i suppose a good glue should do (unless glue hardens the rubber that is ..).

ok mate cheers, i think everyone has different ideas about this.

I read someone saying they don't get any leeks because they tighten the roof on by the back bolts first:baa:

guess it's just luck of the draw:p
