dini_the_owl
Also mate just a word, I found this out about 1 month ago, If you used your credit card to pay through paypal. your normally covered from your credit card, they will normally do what they call a charge back to paypal, my card has to be done within 90 days of purchase, your credit card company will credit you back and paypal will have to pay them back, you maybe still be covered with paypal but they only give you i think £110 per product so you still loose out if its over that price, ring your card company and tell them whats happened and you may get a full refund. youve nowt to loose
SuperSupra
Just an update for anyone who's interested:- I've opened a dispute now as this is the soonest I could open it. Looks like I will get just under hald my money back at best UNLESS that is, anyone who lives around the SA15 postcode area can help me out? I'm not afraid about posting any of his personal info on here now as it's quite clear I'm not gonna get anything. His name is Matthew (Matty) Howells and his postcode is SA15 2WS. If anyone has possibly heard of him or know anything can you let me know, because I'd love to pay him a visit, or even just give him a quick phone call. I am also planning on taking this further than simply claiming through Paypal/Ebay. Being that it's not just £20 or something I will be taking the matter up legally as I don't think people like this should be allowed to get away with this sort of thing. Even beyond the money, it's the principal. It's a long shot, but if anyone around that area can help me out I'd very much appreciate it.

One of the first things I tried. I'll get the money back, one way or another

SuperSupra
I just did a quick multimap on the postcode and it said it was invalid ? Hmmm, odd, guess you can set up an account with Ebay with a false postcode - DAMN! Thanks anyway bud, maybe someone has had a similar experience as these people tend to do it over and over again. Does anyone know is it possible to somehow find out (from the IP address or something) where someone was when they set up an e-mail address for example? I have 2 for him. Im sure getting his IP address would be possible mate, but what it would tell you is another thing.... If he is doing this regularly, he probably sets up his accounts somewhere public, which makes things virtually un-traceable - such as an internet cafe... Out of interest, doesnt his paypal account give address details?
SuperSupra
Do you have his street address ? Unfortunately not, wish I did. If the postcode is anything like what it should be, I've got:- Neath Neath Port Talbot SA15 2WS That's all I have I'm afraid.
