CJ
I have been offered one of these as a p/ex against a Supra. A friend of mine might be interested in the Honda but I was wondering if it was a car I should think of keeping as a runaround to replace my tired Celica? The Honda is (in the sellers description) a 1994 2nd owner, 68000 miles verifiable, white with grey leather and 17 inch Team Dynamic alloys. Super condition vehicle, owned last 5 years, fully loaded. Can anyone shed some light on their performance, reliability, fuel consumption etc?
Guest Chris_gog
I used to have one, really nice cars. Is it a UK one or an import? Can be prone to head gasket failures, and very expensive to repair. parts are quite hard to get hold of, but all in all really nice. 0-60 in about 7 seconds. 3.2V6, not cheap on fuel. Pretty reliable, but nothing like other hondas e.g. preludes and civics, which will take a beating all day long and still want more, whereas the Legend won't take that sort of punishment. Check out http://www.acura-legend.com, that's the Legend forum. Hope all my rambling has helped! Also, it's a buyers market as they are very hard to sell, so you should get it pretty cheap. That's probably why he/she wants to p/x it
Renar
If the mileage truly is correct, then that should be a nice car. My friend owned Legend Coupe a couple of years back and i don't recall him having any major issues and it was pretty comfortable to drive around. I have looked on Autotrader and Ebay and they vary considerably. What sort of price do you chaps think this is worth if we assume that the mileage is correct and the condition is excellent? Depends if a) the mileage is correct and b)if it's an import of UK car. The 'alpha touring' model is pretty rare, so that would fetch quite a bit (you can tell it's the alpha touring by the Sat Nav unit, which won't work) if you can find someone who would buy it
