leonv
I completed my de-cat to achieve 1.1 to 1.2 boost. If I set the boost at 1.1 boost the car cuts out. At first I thought that the car did not come with a FCD as advertised, but there is one installed. 2nd thought was that the FCD is faulty, but the car still boost to 1 bar and does not cut out at 0.9 boost. Any similar experience or some advise would be much appreciated
Steviekid
What type of FCD is installed?
leonv
What type of FCD is installed? I will have to double check and come back to you. I checked it last night in the dark, and did not have a very good torch.
Steviekid
I will have to double check and come back to you. I checked it last night in the dark, and did not have a very good torch. Check the wiring and the setting it's at too (all the ones I've come across are adjustable). Fuel cut occurs at 1.0bar by the way so the car would boost ok to 0.9bar anyway. Jake
Sounds like your FCD is borked. Boost cut occurs at 1.0 bar on the stock car without a FCD.
leonv
I was informed by (the experts) that it won't boost over 0.9 without the FCD and that is how I got to that figure.

leonv
The experts? Who? I don't want to mention the name, I don't think that is fair, but they work on a lot of sups.
Jake
OK. Anyway, you'll need to fit a working FCD if you want to boost past 1.0 bar. Unless you have a GReddy/HKS one and the rotary dial inside is set incorrectly
