But im not sure it´s worth the trouble! Så got som questions I hope you can helt me with. How mutch dos a Manuel gearbox cost? Is it diff to change it`? What do i need beside the gearbox? And is it worth it? Hope to get a quick answer VH Christian
Ian W
i wouldn't dismiss getting an automatic anyway. is it possible for you to test drive an automatic Supra in Sweden? if you definitely want a manual then i'd suggest just buying one rather than an auto. i don't think it's *that* hard to do but you may as well just spend a little extra and buy a manual anyway to be honest. Pabs
i believe i asked this same question not so long ago - you could almost pick up 2 auto supra's for the price of a manual (ok not fantastic, but u get the idea) - so i was thinking of doing the conversion. It appears it could cost around 5k+ to do it, although some have suggested 2k and others 6k.

Pabs
lol - i saw one at 5k and another at 5k, and looking at some manual TT's on here for 10k+ my maths isn't far wrong - but as said, the two TT's would be med/low-end condition, but u could probably break it and make money.. Not a bad price that. Out of interest Martin, how much of that figure is labour? I'm asking £2800 for the full kit with the rps clutch and fly so sounds about right. I reckon if i had proper ramps i could drive in and back out again say 6>8hrs later all finished, maybe quicker. It really is easy to do.
Rayman
Buy the auto and try it for a bit you might find its not as bad as you think. Its more important to get a good example than what spec it is in my view.
Pabs
where were you lot when i asked this question a month ago??? lol Certainly makes buying a decent auto a possibility.. rather than the extra outlay for a manual to start with....
