mikeyb10supra
For those of you that have fitted a catch tank, did yo use any extra internal material, such as metal scouring pads, sponge, or other dense materials to create a more arduous path for oil trying to get back into the system?? Only my catch tank does'nt have the option to remove the lid...I was thinking I could pack the core with dense fibres to catch more droplets but looks like its wel sealed......will it be ok to use with no internals? SupraAyf
Just thinking the same as I've got intentions of buying a nice new Greddy unit:)
ChrisSZ
I had one filled with those stainless steel scouring pad thingies (no rust ) on my GT4 and it certainly seemed to make a difference compared to 'stock' or empty. A fair bit more oil in the bottom of the can
paul mac
yep stainless scourers available from focus DIY, you may have to be prepared for a scrap with an old biddy for them though, DO NOT USE ordinary scourers they will rust then fall to bits and start to be ingested by the the engine
