If people are not allowed to ask questions before buying i.e. when it's too late to do anything about it then why are you letting me register and post to the forum. JustGav Posted October 9, 2006 Share Posted October 9, 2006 I would hazard a guess then that the unit is an apexi SAFC-I or an SAFC-II. Both these units fudge the air signal that runs to the ECU. Also, is a good or bad thing? Ive got one on mine. it was on there when i imported it. There arent any engine mods that i know of except an air filter but if you adjust it, i found that it does make a difference to the cars performance. Marty Posted October 9, 2006 Share Posted October 9, 2006 it may be the apexi safr (air / fuel ratio) , like pheonix says, it does what it sounds like it does, adjusts the air / fuel ratio.
