ABS Error Code 44...?

After changing my wheels and suspension, I've developed an annoying abs and traction control problem: At very low speeds under braking the abs will kick in (despite the fact I'm not skidding). Also at low speeds the traction control will decide I'm hugely out of control and turn "snow mode" on.

 

After searching around I've managed to find a couple of people who've had the same problem, however none that have the same error code. I checked the abs ecu for error codes (E1 and TC is that right?) and I got error code 44, which after more searching I think is: "Lateral acceleration sensor signal malfunction".

 

...so....uhhhh... anyone know how I fix it?
