Transmission type Swap

Hi i'm from portugal and I'm trying to find a Left hand Drive Supra. These are really expensive comparing to the uk prices, (ok i'm trying to find a twin turbo, manual, aero top ) since the cheapest i found here in portugal costed 22500€!!!! Sometimes Supras apear in Germany with lower costs, but they are usually automatic. So what I need to know is if I can trade an automatic transmission to a manual one and how reliable can this change be????? What Will I need to do that???? Other option is to buy an UK Supra and swap the driving weel to the left side, is this possible????

Cool Man!!! I wonder waht would be the cost of doing this with scrapyard stock supra parts???.... If any one can help Thanks....

I would budget around 4-5000 Euro for parts if you get everything from a scrapyard.

 

Better change all the clutch parts right away when you do the swap and rework the diff and all that stuff.

 

So in the end you can buy the manual one. Trust me many people already thought about it.

You cant get a RHD manual aerotop.

 

Transmission change is possible, a donor car is the easiest way to go.

 

You will still need some new parts including the transmission tunnel.

 

That is the worst part of the job, cutting out a large part of the tunnel!
