supRo Posted September 21, 2006 Share Posted September 21, 2006 If toyota tell you that autobox fluid is OK to use or that they have never heard of the V160 oil then they are wrong! Some V160 boxes even have a sticker that states the autobox fluid is OK! Only use V160 oil in the V160/V161 gear box. Get the oil changed first and have the seals looked at. SteveR Posted September 21, 2006 Share Posted September 21, 2006 If you've done the above, remember that the 6 gear can feel pretty stiff compared to lessor cars with lessor gearboxes, especially when cold.
