D3xt3r
Hey Guys I'm just before ordering some new wheels for my car with UK brakes. What do you think about the following setup: Front: 8,5x18 ET25 (or 8x18 ET48) Rear 9,5x18 ET30 I would like to take the 8,5 wheels because the offset is not much off on the front from the rears. But I'm unsure if it will fit.
Rayman
I think 8.5x18 ET25 is more likely to fit than 8x18 ET48, i think im right in saying the first of the two will stick out more and give more clearance. Its not always to do with ET tho sometimes its to do with shape of the spokes when it comes to fitment, thats why its always best to try them first. D3xt3r
Hard to try them first when its a special order item I can live with it when its flush or a bit more as I have to paint the whole car and can pull the fenders out at that process. wkdtime
Mate the front will fit no probs but the rears will rub if you go for 265 tyres when cornering hard....i guarantee it! Its not really a problem you just need to roll the arches are free up more space which will do the job.
D3xt3r
So you are sure the 8,5 ET25 will go over the UK brakes? Rolling the arches aint a problem.

It depends on the spoke desgin, put it this way i would be very very suprised if they didnt clear UK brakes as the offsets are pretty small, 25mm would mean that the front wheels sit out 2.5cm more than stock wheels would if the widths were the same. Stock offsets 50mm front and rears i think. Id say 95% sure they would fit mate.
D3xt3r
Its a classic 5spoke design and with this offset the spokes should carve outwards. I will give it a try and just order them.
