c0c4in3
Hey fellas, I just wanted to let you know, that my supra was not doing anything for a year and 1 month now. Today I fitted everything to get the engine working and and I had no problems. I turned the ignition on, on step more, and the engine started and sounded like the day I stored her in my garage. Great Engine is all I can say about that. It smells a little bit like unused petrol, but the engine runs and sounds like the day I stopped driving her. Never had that with a previous car. Bob
Try replacing the EGBV hoses in a hurry, you'll not be best friends with it then! lol

Bob
If you have a look at the back of the block and just behind the turbos, deep down there is the EGBV actuator with the assosciated pipes - it's about level with the 2nd turbo
c0c4in3
Thanks. And petrol smell is a sign that the hoses needs to be replaced? Or could it be because the car was not running (not even started) for more than a year. Thanks, Oliver
Soonto_HAS_soop
Could be that your oxygen sensor needs a good running in, also if you disconnected the battery for this time, the ECU WILL run slightly richer until it sorts it self out.
