dazla Posted September 12, 2006 Share Posted September 12, 2006 hi all just bought my 1st supra and goda say its awsome. i'v had 3 fto's and this just tops it off. just got a little problem though. when i have run my car for about 5 mins i get a rattling noise coming from the middle section of the exhaust.i think its the cat[sAD]. it sounds like a stone rattling inside or its sound like its crackleing with the heat. is this normal or what. any 1 help me Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Robert Posted September 12, 2006 Share Posted September 12, 2006 The inside of the cat could possible be falling apart and causing the rattling once warmed up, more than likely is the heat shields along the middle section and near the front cat. Dave Posted September 12, 2006 Share Posted September 12, 2006 check the bracket that holds the exhaust to the gearbox, mine had a fine crack in it and was only noisey when it warmed up took me ages to find, my mate welded it for me and no more noise.i thought mine was the cat Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
