Suspension Coil Spring Question

Can I fit standard coil springs to uprated shocks (I think they are something like 'Tanabe Sustec dampers for street use')? Is there any difference between N/A and TT springs? The reason I ask is I need to raise the suspension up a bit due to my new Nurspec system grounding out on everything and also the springs that are on there are too hard for the crap roads here in North Devon.

We have fitted KYB AGX shocks with standard springs without any problems. In fact the set up is far better than what we had expected and the Supe does track days as well.
