TLicense
Courtesy of AEM, here is a small snippet logged of my drive home If you've not got the AEM software you'll need to download it from here: Download the 8 meg file on this link You should then be able to open the file I've attached to this post using AEM log. You'll then be able to graph a whole load of different stuff, inlcuding: vehicle speed (Not calibrated correctly) engine speed gear (although only shows up to 4th - need to get calibration sorted) engine load timing fuelling A/F ratio's blah blah blah Anyway, for those of you with more analytical prowess than me, a look into this to see if there's any particular reason why at some points I run waaaay lean, 21 A/F at some point that would be great. Oh yeah, also if any current AEM users are using the o2feedback, could I take a look at your target a/f map? Adam W
Tony, I can't see your map on this PC but I think what you are seeing is the injectors switching off completely on the over-run (ie lifting off the throttle). This is DFCO, or decel fuel cut off, and used in OEM mapping strategies to reduce fuel consumption etc. You can switch it off in the software as it can cause problems if it's not set up properly, but as long as you're not getting any bucking or jerking as you feed the throttle back in I would leave it. If you are on more than 2 or 3% throttle and it's reading 21:1 a/f you have a major issue!
TLicense
Adam, I'm defintely 100% certain this is what I'm getting as feeding the power in smoothly can be a nightmare. I'll take a look after work. Can't remember clearly, but I seem to remember that it goes most lean after lift off, and comes back in as I re-apply throttle. Again pointing to DFCO. I'm going to have to get Pat to take a look at my map and iron out any issues. Just got to get the time to do it really. Cheers Tony
Wez
Deff sounds like DFCO to me, its for fuel economy etc, switch it off and you can get some nice flames and crackles.
