I just wondered if anyone else on here was running a Supra with an HKS 3037 (T56) turbo?

Our new car has one and I have to say its very impressive, practically no turbo lag to speak of etc.

I would be interested to hear of anyone elses experience of one.

Yeah, I know its unusual but the car has only one?!?! It makes for an extreme lack of turbo lag! It also feels great at high revs!

Which helps how? :conf:

Ant, do you know what A/R the 3037 is? Have you had the fueling checked as on your site you say you don't know what ECU it has....it may be mapped to race fuel!?!

Its not going anywhere at the moment. Just being prepared for SVA and then it will be going for a rolling road session to see what sort of power it is making and to make sure it is okay on UK fuel. Where is the ECU in a Supra TT?

Standard type ECU, chipped/remapped with Hi-Tech chip by powerhouse Amuse in Japan. Thats what I can tell from the ECU anyway.

Ant,

Do you know the specs on that turbo? Which wheel, what A/R ratio etc? I want something similar to that turbo.

Car made 460bhp & 460ft/lb torque by the way at 1.4 bar boost. Its super low lag, full boost at less than 3,000rpm. Very nice.

do u mean positive boost or full (1.4bar) boost at less than 3krpm? thats one magical mofo turbo if its making 1.4bar at 3k. i can get 1.4 bar from the stock parallel ceramics at 3900rpm, i thought that was quick :)

any chance of a look at the dyno graph?

cheers

I havent driven it for a couple of weeks so I cant quite remember I think under heavy load its making full boost around 3000. I will put the dyno graphs on our website at some point if you are interested. The new site goes on line next week.
