Jonboy
After seeing on here that in most peoples opinion the Original airbox is better than aftermarket ones ive taken my blitz one off and put the original back on, but was wondering if its worth putting a aftermarket filter in it? would this give improvements? jayssupra
I found that the standard air box plus a K&N panel filter worked best on my car, i noticed quite an improvement in performance, i think the panel filter cost me about £
RedM
I'm not sure. I've read a fair bit about performance losses from a K&N. I decided to go for a Denso Toyota air filter in the end.
JohnA
..but was wondering if its worth putting a aftermarket filter in it? would this give improvements? Not measurable ones. ...although it might increase the wear on your valve seats and piston rings measurably, depending on how dusty your driving environment is.
