morning all,

i was wondering if anybody is clued up on subaru's cause my mate has just bought a scooby 2001 2L WRX AWD (215bhp) – UK SPEC and wants to mod it to get 300bhp, below are the things he is planning on doin.

 

 

 

Hayward and Scott Down pipes (No CAT) - £193.88

 

Hayward and Scott CAT by pass pipe. - £105.75

 

Hayward and Scott centre pipe - £105.75

 

Total Exhaust – £405.38 (Fitting company has quoted me £411.25

 

EcuTek Remap £705 (seems steep, it doesn’t even go on the rolling road)

 

Turbo – Second Hand (Up to 15k) STI 2004 Impreza Turbo – VF34 / VF 35 ( Roller Bearing turbo) - £470.

 

 

is the turbo on the sti that much better than the wrx? and would he make that kind of power?

any help would be much appreciated
