Ok im getting my moneys worth from here heh.

So as well as the new wheels im after its service time on my new TT aerotop, only had a NA before so can someone give me a guide as to what needs doing and the oil needed etc?

I believe its best to change the auto gerbox oil as well at the same time?

If ppl can suggest the best oils to put it the car wherever it neeeds to go that would be grand!

Thanks again!

Is this something you are looking to do yourself ?

Whats the mileage on the old girl ?

The download section (i think) has a service schedule and intervals guide.

That should help you to decide what you need to do.

Personally though if it was a new car to me i would service everything, then you know it is all done and you have a good base for future servicing work.

I think Digsy or Ian c did a guide on what fluids are needed and their viscosity this will probably be in the FAQ section.

You have some reading to do :)

Edit: im feeling helpful today here is a link to an excellent guide to oil types etc it was posted by "Alex" CLICK ME

Wow thanks, the mileage is 65k, she has FSH but like you say if i get it all done now then im sure its been recently changed. Im not sure of the auto box oil has been done, im just assuming it has.

Nope im not doing it myself, not that confident yet so im gonna get the info and give it to a friend who does my servicing and make sure he uses the correct oil etc.

Just dont want to miss anything, the car really is immacualte and so deserves to be looked after! =)

Thanks for the help!
