Strong sticky things???

With the hot weather this weekend, my front number plate has fallen off twice, and the rear one was hanging off by just 1 sticky pad aswell!

Have been using the Halfrauds number plate sticky pads, but obviously they're not up to the job.

What do other people use??? I don't really want to screw them on...

the first time just 3 on the front, the 2nd time i put on 4. now it has 4 again, we'll see if they are still attached when i get home tonight!

Have you tried the velcro stuff from Halfrauds?

That's what I use, and fingers crossed, so far it's worked a treat

hmmmmm thats a good idea :) but i may use this as an excuse to put my vinyle one on!

I use silicone sealant and the Halfords sticky pads - the pads hold it in place until thje sealant has gone off :) :)

thats a cool idea! how easy it it to remove though when you need to take the plates off?

Why would I need to take them off?? My rear one is staying as I like it (just about legal) and my front one is a little too small according to the letter of the law but I often carry a normal sized one with some elastic bands so I can bung it on when necessary to appease the police if needed.

Other than that - Iv'e never had the need to remove it for anything :) :)
