jason m
Don't know if tech but I had a bit of judder/pulsing of the break pedal. Just got a new set of hub centric rings from Envy fitted (after a recomendation by CW) to my volk wheels, replacing the original ones that came with the wheels. Problem solved
bignum
sounds like either runnout on the disc ie warped or have a look to see if theres anything actually stuck to it or surface rust, they can all cause brake judder.

bignum
cant see how centre rings can cause brake judder to be honest.
jason m
I think it is to do with how the wheel face mates to the hub, so its not brake judder per say, but feels similar. I'm sure someone techie can give a better explanation,
wkdtime
Mate before you try the above, check your bearings.
jason m
Ok for clarification. I had UK front and rear brakes fitted - the latter by CW. Following this I had a little pulsing sensation - intermittantly when braking. I spoke to CW who suggested that maybe the hub centric rings used to locate the wheels were incorrectly sized. I ordered some replacements from ENVY. The car went to pheonix for some other bits and they fitted these at the same time. Mark comented that indeed the old rings did not fit well and the new ones were perfect, and in fact the same ones that Terry S had used (he has the same wheels as me) THE PROBLEM HAS NOW BEEN RESOLVED
