Im failry sure the center part of it is painted but really dont have a clue what the outer dish consists of. Because of this, i havent a clue what i can use to aid the cleaning of them? Could anyone posibly shed some light on what the outer rim is made of and/or what i can use to aid in cleaning them? http://www.e-tire.co.jp/ferrari_page/bbs-lm-ferrari.jpg

Gaz Walker
Polished alloy Daman. BBS don't use chrome. You can use Briliant polish to get them looking pretty Gaz.
DamanC
Thankyou gaz so im presuming it is exacly what it says on the tin, polished alloy.......meaning i cant use wonder wheels etc? Can i use it on the painted central part, or am i likely to get a little on the poished bit and screw it up? The reason for this is simply to aid getting off the brake dust...... colsoop
If it is a polished alloy: Use some brilliant to restore the shine to the wheel. Then apply a good car polish / wax to protect the surface, the wax will allow the easier removal of brake dust and grime. For the painted centre section i would just use soap and water with a toothbrush or bottle brush and again wax it.

Col's advice above is spot on for cleaning. Gaz.
