DrivingTheDream
My lower rad hose went the other day and car overheated. Anyway I filled back up to try and find the split to cover it up for a while until my pipe came. Ran the car and the temp guage started to rise beyond the norm. I checked the bottom and top rad pipes. The top was hot and bottom was cold. Thermostat gone? If so any idea how much a garage would charge to replace as it looks a bit to fiddly to get to the bugger.

Digsy
The top hose should be hotter than the bottom one, but the bottom one wouldn't be completely cold - just cooler than the top.
