nickyboy
I'm hoping to cut a hole out of my single din empty tray under the radio for the RLTC digi adjuster - it's exactly the same height as the tray. So a view from above of the tray would be something like... [edit that didn't work - stars fill empty space and try again!] ------------------ l ************ l l*** ______ *** l l___l ..RLTC... l___l Has anyone done this and what's the best tools given that I have very few? Cheers, Nick
Big Ads
Do you know the diameter you need to cut? i maybe able to provide u with the correct hole saw. this should do the trick. No idea what that diagram is supposed to be tho!!
Whitesupraboy2
whenever im cutting plastic, first of all i score resonably deeply with a knife and ruler, then to be honest rather then cut (because that can cause that white plastic effect) i heat up a knife and just run it down the scored line, like a knife through butter. someone may have a better way tough and depends on the plastic and size of cut
Lucifer
Dremmel is the only way if you want a good finish.

nickyboy
Right! Apologies for the diagram before - it looked good in the preview box! Tried again... Scoring is a good idea that I prob would have overlooked so that's a definite start!!! I've never owned or used a dremmel - worth getting one?
