Jake
Well, UK ones work alright on J cars so I presume it'll work the other way around.

bignum
well just to answer my own question, a jap odo unit dosent work on a uk car, tried it today and there were a few problems, car hit a big flat spot at 3k revs, active spoiler didnt work and cruise control didnt work properly.Must be something to to with the 5/8 speed signal generated by the odo not matching the uk ecu, so put me old 1 back in and all is fine apart from dodgy lights.
