far
Ok this is a weird question, svery occasionally I forget to activate the turbo timer after I have stopped and I turn the ignition off Question is if I do this and then start my igntion again and then activate the turbo timer is this bad ? i.e. is there any point in doing this or has any damage already been done ? :flame Dev
outatime
You should be ok doing turning the car back on again, turbo timers leave the engine idling so the hot air/oil in the turbos is cooled. The turbos won't cool down in the time you switch the ignition off and then on again...
Supra ST Myster
dont you have the option of having the turbo timer on manually so you dont have to worry about switching it on before you turn the engine off??

Willson
Yeah, bit of an ar*e that (clifford). I'd much rather have it set every time on a toggle switch. And even more so for the remote ignition. It looks like i'm hot wiring my car every time I get out.

Yep but apperantly if you get a "normal" turbo timer it conflicts with the clifford system and doesnt work properly
400BHP
Far, if you buy a turbo timer you can fit it to an aux output on the clifford and set the aux output to automatically kick in when the ignition is turned off. I believe

Steve W2
For what its worth I have the smae setup as Far and I was also told not to use the turbo timer i had as it will send the Clifford doolally!! I have heard a few pwople on this BBS say they use a TT and a Clifford independently without any problems. Maybe they are using the Aux. output?
