Supra ST Myster
My rear defogger has never worked since i have had the car, i actually investigated it today, i get the voltages on the spade connectors when i press in my rear defog button but still no joy, took a look at the wires that goes across the window with a avo metre and nearly all of them dont buzz from one side to the other, but it does if you get closer so looks like nealry all the tracks are blown??? Can it be fixed or hows it done?? thanks
mos
you can get a special paint type substance that you paint over the tracks and it will connect them all back together again
400BHP
Break the window and get a new one under your insurance... repairing ALL the tracks will take ages and its no guarantee that the window will even work after. (check your policy first)
Supra ST Myster
oh right cheers, do you know where you can get that paint stuff from? If it dont work then maybe accidental breakage Although if you claim for windows do you loose out on your no claims bonus? As if so its not worth it really.?? mos
the paint you can get from halfords and as for the breakage then it depends on your policy, you could always say its been smashed will it affect my no claims or how much will i have to pay, then if its not alot smash it or if it will afect no claims then say its okay ill get it fixed myself.
