qaisar
tracker ownership stays with the car rather than the owner so it should get transferred to you
Paul
tracker ownership stays with the car rather than the owner so it should get transferred to you Sorry no it don't. I had to register with them and it cost me about £50 to change details and get a new battery unit fitted and it all tested. Then it's £99 per year or £299 for the full time you own the car. Try phoning 'Tracker' themselves as they should be able to help if you give them chassis and reg details. BTW the unit itself can be mounted in loads of positions on the car, not just behind the dash;)
qaisar
yeah sorry perhaps i should have been clearer, but my point was that it doesnt mean Tracker wont speak to him about someone else's account as the account is with the unit on the car not the old owner, so if he gives the cars details they should be able to sort it out for him, even if it is at a cost

Thanks anyway for the help !
