oil recomendations

Hey Guys

 

All booked in for a full service at pheonix next month and looking to change my oil over from Mobil 1 motorsports to a new esther based oil

 

Does anyone have any recommendations as im a bit out of touch with what oils are currently the best to use?

 

Car is currently runing at 1 bar on stock turbos? used for short runs mainly

im using silkolene 5w-40 or the 10w-50 is the one to use.

I found opie oils to be expensive for silkolene pro 10w 50. Bought mine from revolutions, opie might be cheaper nw as this was over 3 months ago.

 

I would go with 10w 50, thats what I'm using.

there's a nice sticky here http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=56684 that gives some good recommendations. silkolene for regular use & valvoline for those who only do short journeys (been considering trying this for my next oil change since i normally only do short journeys, but have been happy with the silkolene for that last year)
